We have arranged a fun day for staff and children on Friday, 23rd July.  There will be NO  nursery sessions this day.  Both morning and afternoon children are to be left at nursery at 11.00am and collected again at 2.00pm.  They can come dressed up if they wish.  We will have fun and games, food will be provided and we have Charlie the magician coming to entertain them before they leave.

Families are invited to join us in the nursery garden for Sports Day on Wednesday, 14th July at:

10.15am morning children

2.00pm afternoon children

Children should come to nursery for their normal start time with families coming back at the above times.  We will finish this event with a visit from the ice cream van.  All nursery children will be given a token which entitles them to an ice cream.  Families will be able to purchase ice creams for themselves.

Our annual report to parents is now available.

Congratulations everyone we managed to raise £603.50 for Barnardo's.  Well done.

This month we have had a visitor from New Zealand working with us.  Her name is Robyn Lawrence and she has been helping us to develop our learning stories.  She has delivered some excellent training and has worked individually with staff on writing assessment stories.  It has been a great chance for us to reflect on and improve our work.  It has also helped to remind us what amazing learners your children are.

Wednesday, 12th May.  Our nursery chicks began to hatch today.

Our new extension was completed on time and now offers an excellent facility to help bring our indoor/outdoor classroom together.  We are now in the process of resourcing the area.

Letters offering places for September 2010 will be sent to parent/carers week beginning May 10th.
